New Water Service: All requests for new water service and transfer of water meter location to another location other than the existing property must have an Engineer’s Study (hydraulic study) performed by Cottonwood Water Supply Corporation’s Engineer and Applicant must pay non-refundable fee to Cottonwood Water Supply Corporation. This study will determine if improvements are required to serve your property. (See New Meter Study Form below). Note: If requesting two or more lots or sites for the purpose of sale or development, whether immediate or future, including re-subdivision of land for which a plat has been filed and recorded or requests more than two water service connections on a single contiguous tract of land must comply with Cottonwood WSC' Subdivision Policy.
To obtain water service:
Step 1: Engineer Study is performed by Cottonwood WSC's Engineer after form, maps, and fee are received.
Step 2: After Engineer Study is complete, Applicant can decide whether or not to proceed with new water service based on the results of study.
Step 3: To proceed, Service Application & Agreement, notarized Easement, and payment all of fees must be received by Cottonwood WSC.
Step 4: After Step 3 above is approved, water service meter will be scheduled with our installer.
CURRENT FEES (Subject to change by Board of Directors):
- Membership Fee = $200.00
- Buy-In Equity Fee = $2,800.00
- Customer Service Investigation Fee = $75.00
- Standard Installation Fee (no improvements required) = $1,050.00
- If improvements are required to serve property including road bore crossing extension, this cost is separate and not included in the fees above.
